Why is it that some individuals easily navigate a viral exposure while others remain unwell, sometimes for months, with complex symptoms? Our individual responses are influenced by many facets but namely center around the interplay between the immune and nervous systems.

Currently, a common approach taken by healthcare practitioners is to deluge patients with anti-inflammatory substances such as fish oils or curcumin to reduce inflammation in they body. However, when given in excess, these therapies can suppress certain elements of the immune response, leaving patients more vulnerable to the resurgence of dormant pathogens such as EBV, CMV, HSV-1,2 etc.

Please join us as Dr. Jacs Cooper, Director of Field Training & Education speaks with expert immunologist and clinician Dr. Sam Yanuck, DC, FACFN, FIAMA on this topic and other key issues that can arise in the context of viral illness creating obstacles to healing and giving way to the development of long haulers syndrome.

Please note that the recording is available until December 15, 2021.
